Yes, the ST bags are the same as the Givi V35 bags which I am going to put on my wife's F3. She doesn't want them on all the time just for long trips, four bolts and their off.
I made the brackets and welded them to the saddlebag frames. I got a very good deal on ST bags with the side mounting hardware. I stripped all the tabs off, used 3/16" flat plate with right angle bend and 1/8" x 3/4" angle iron. This setup seems to be strong enough that additional bracing will not be needed. Need to load bags and put a few hundred miles to verify. PM me if you would like additional information.
Best looking bags on an F3 by far. Most excellent craftsmanship on your part!
Thanks for posting. Hopefully BRP will notice and make these the standard bags on the F3T.

A BRP rep last year at Spyder Odyssey in Quebec City, had a set of Givi V35 bags on her F3. She had the brackets done herself by a metal shop, and was trying to convince BRP to make brackets for the F3 to mount the Givi bags. I guess they nixed the idea because we haven't seen them around.
It's too bad because I have to agree, that is the best looking bags I have seen on an F3. I only went with the Kappa bags for my wife because we couldn't find any brackets for the V35 to fit her F3.
Yes, nice job! This is the second F3 I have seen with these bags on them. Spotted one at SpyderQuest last fall. He purchased the bags & brackets for a couple hundred bucks from an ST owner and I think he said he had a local welding shop fab up the ST brackets to fit his F3. His F3 was white.
They are off an ST, the Givi V35 bags are the same and use the same side mounts. The side mounts can be any that are for the V35 bags the bike is not important as all the tab hardware is removed. If you watch eBay you can find some good deals on used. Used Givi bags are hard to find at a good price and new ones are around $500/600. If you have fabrication skills and a welder you can do this for less than $800.00.
