180 degree mirrows
has anyone had the experience of mounting the 180 degree mirrors on their dash? looking for mounting idea's, without buying the expensive ball mounts, something simple. Any and all thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you

The problem with adding something like that to your dash: they're easy to remove, and walk off with!

Why do you want mirrors on your dash? Just wonderin'

the 1st pic on top was me riding, I could see my surrounding at 180degree angle. The mirror can be easily removed when you park/leave the bike. Just like any item you mounted on dash (gps, cell phone etc)
Cindy,
Do you have a mounting solution for the F3-S?

If this is the RiderScan, and I doubt it makes any difference, the only thing I have a view of when mounted low is myself. I have 3" risers, and I get a very good shot of my shoulders and arms, blocking most of my view behind. I'm not a big person either. I've been thinking of mounting high. The RiderScan is mounted with 3M tape on a bracket. So, I think your size, and whether you have risers will matter.

I'm ugly enough without having to see myself in one of those mirrors.

otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

Pam: I am 79, and my head & neck don't turn as easy as it did 40 years ago, and i like to see my blind spots easy with out twisting my head around. Some day, you will understand that. Thank's for asking ____ modagwood

I get it now. Thanks for the clarification. Glad you're still riding, I'm 12 years behind you.

For the F3, we have mounting setup with: custom bracket with a ball, 2" double socket arm, and locking mechanism. See our site under Spyder F3. The mirror is on 1st row in the middle, There's drop down to include mounting.
The double socket arm can be attached to your existing ram ball on your spyder. I hope this helps.

cindy: your mounting bracket for the RT. When you are out riding, and you stop somewhere and you want to remove the mirror, what do you have to remove to get the mirror off? Is there anything that locks it on? Thanks

I am not sure....I would be afraid of getting blinded from the sun.

Modagwood,
The bracket comes with a ball, that goes into 2" double socket arm (RAM)
To remove it, simple twist the lever on socket arm. And remove the mirror (bracket & ball attached to mirror).
So similar to removing your X-grip from ram ball mount.
