    Default Horn

During my two wheel days, a few friends had insanely obnoxious, yet extremely effective, horns on their bikes. Anyone have any recommendations for a nice and loud horn for the F3?

Harbor Freight sells a loud horn too, but I can't think of the name but it is only like $29.99

Stebel is the way to go,Amazon has them for 31.00 and up.Make sure you get the relay to hook it up so it doesn't pull too much amperage across your horn button.

Do you have to use the relay if you are only using the Stebel horn and bypassing the stock horn?
Any suggestions for mounting the horn on the F3S?

I used the relay. In my opinion, the added amperage will eventually damage the horn switch. Unfortunately, the location I decided to mount it in is the same location as the signature light relay. I didn't want to go through the trouble of re-wiring in order to relocate the horn relay so I mounted the signature light relay onto the battery hold down bracket, which worked out perfectly.

I mounted the horn directly to the frame. The pics might not be entirely clear as to how I did it.

Mine worked as intended the other day when someone tried to turn out in front of me in the Costco parking lot. Stopped her dead in her tracks. She gave me the stink eye and I just smiled as I rode by.

+1 for Nautilus. I installed one on our Spyder and it causes inattentive drivers to jump out of their seats.

    Default Horn relay

On the stebel or bad boy, no relay required. Plug and play.

I mounted two stebel horns, one on the left an one on the right sides of the front of the spyder sounds good to me.
