Highway Pegs - Looking for some Advice
Afternoon - was wondering if anyone has an experience with Rivco Highway Pegs? Looking to buy some but am looking for some advice.
Thanks in advance

I have Rivco pegs and like them. If you are accustomed to highway pegs on a cruiser they will take some getting used to because of how your legs will be positioned vis-a-vis the Spyder's body work. On balance, however, they give you enough options for your legs and feet to make a positive difference. I Like them!
I purchased the RIVCO Highway Pegs at Spyderfest this year. They have unlimited adjustments to fit each individual rider, short, tall and in between! I love em!

I have the Rivco highway pegs. I bought them last October at Spyders in the Smoky's. I wasn't sure I was going to like them, but I'm glad I have them. I use them all the time. Well worth the money spent.

I have them. I like how they mount to the underside of my RT's floorboards and project forward, instead of outward as some others do. I have short legs and they are set perfectly for me.

Rivco is the way to go,easy install, lots of adjustment to fit rider and they look good.Just put mine on and tested them out yesterday. They work great for another foot position.

Use and like their bracket, but altered to use Kuryakin pegs.

HERE is my detailed review of the RIVCO floor boards, along with some other comments. Hope the thread answers some questions for you.

I had some rivco highway pegs put on at americade. The ride back to Florida was a lot more ccomfortable with the highway pegs. Love them.

on the RT THEY WILL interfere with braking action BY NOT ALLOWING THE FLOOR BOARD TO FALL AWAY is this could mean rear ending vehicle in front of you, tahe a look at LAMONSTER WEB SITE AND WATCH THE VIDEO ON RT HIGHWAY BOARDS INSTALL

No Problem with RIVCO's and Emergency Braking

Actually that's not quite true.
If properly installed the RIVCO's do allow the floor boards to fall more than enough for emergency braking. The bracket will fall on the nearby side vent louvers, but the weight of the falling floorboard will not be enough to harm the louver. Your braking force will be on the brake pedal, not the floorboard. When you stomp on the brake pedal, there is a lever on the pedal arm that releases the floorboard. See my review linked a couple of posts above for more details.
Lamonster's boards are indeed top quality. But like someone else stated above, I chose the RIVCO's because they did not stick out to the side as far.

I had the Rivco on my old GS/RS and they were very nice. However, it did make oil changes a pain. I now have the Lamonster highway pegs on my RT and really like them. Easy install and work perfectly.
