    Default Easier clutch update??

Anyone heard an update on the availability of the parts to make the F3 clutch easier to operate? My wife is eagerly awaiting this mod.

These folks make custom levers... Maybe they've got something to help!

I would say don’t buy a manual Spyder. That is one of the first thing I noticed about the Spyders, is how hard the clutch was to operate. Then I test drove the SE and never looked back!!!!!

My wife drove both versions before buying. She noticed the strong clutch, but wanted to go with the manual enough to buy it. I also rode both and far preferred the feel of the manual. Of course, it's a personal preference, but we feel the manual has a better connection with the machine. Maybe if the SE shifted more like a DCT (BMW) or PDK (Porsche), the purchase would have been different. It just felt too mushy to us. It had nothing to do with the cost. Actually, our non-S had nothing to do with the cost, either......I would have paid more for the non-S than the S if we had to. (better grill, black frame, more pearl color, etc.)

I agree - I bought the Manual with my 2012 and Its 3-4 times easier than my F3 Manual? Its like when I ride the 2012 I say-"Wow This is really easy?" I don't mind the harder Pull BUT people that are NOT in the gym every day may Find it a problem especially in Traffic?

I put a Pazzo racing lever on my wife's RS. It makes it so much softer. I can't wait to put one on mine.

I guess they are only available for RS. That's a bummer.

Or guys like me with a bad left tennis elbow from machining for the past 23 years. I can't wait for the fix I noticed it right away and it sucks driving home from work in traffic after elbow is angry from working all day.

BRP should have a Bulletin where it is done for Free. Its a safety issue-I was on some Real Backwoods roads today and I had to constantly have 3 fingers covering the clutch because in an emergency Stop you will keep going on these things unless you yank the clutch in as you apply full brake.
I paid MORE for this than my Chevy Sonic LT 1.4 Turbo with 3 years free oil changes, 5 years warranty and 5 years towing???

It time to start demanding they provide a Fix, after All the RT sm6 does not have this problem!

    I'm sorry; I don't see this as a problem...

...It's just a characteristic of the bike.
You either accept it, and buy the bike, or get something else that'll better suit your needs.
If it were me; I'd give Pazzo a call... perhaps they WILL fit!

It should be the SAME pull as on the RT-Someone Goofed? If the RT pull was this hard the board would be Overflowing with complaints!! I'm asking BRP to step up and do the right thing because it could cause an accident in some cases?

Compared to some I had years back it is easy. I also think you have better control with the new system verse the centrifical.

My 100 lb wife thinks fer F3 clutch is harder to pull than she would prefer (if she's caught in some long urban traffic). I can't imagine anyone actually having an accident due to it's higher effort!! She wouldn't have gone the manual route if it were that difficult....it's is more of an occasional annoyance, that's all.
