But I don't understand why do you have a "not put together" F3? Is there a reason? Shouldn't it be assembled? Or doesn't it need to be done by a Can-Am Tech type guy?

I used to be a bike dealer, and ordered many in the crate to assemble myself for resale. Not as difficult as you might think. Generally mount the wheels, maybe the handlebars, Change or check the fluid levels. Make a few adjustments. The manufacturers supplied the PDI so you could ready them for sale. You can save some big bucks that way. But of course you have to be licensed by the State (in Texas), and to get the license you had to be an authorized brand dealer. I take it there are no dealers in Hawaii !! But that looks like so much fun.

Excellent questions.
I traded my 14RTL back in June for the F3-S, which was on the showroom floor at Pitbull Powersports. It had already been assembled and PDI'd, front end alignment done and balance beads installed in the tires.
They re-crated it for me so it would get here safe and sound, which it did. If I can get the front wheels on tonight, tomorrow I'll get the safety check and then registered at the DMV. It's a process.
My avatar is the actual bike sitting on the showroom floor. I thought that was fitting.
My wife & I were there @ Pitbull that same day in June when you traded in your RTS. Enjoyed talking with you & glad your F3 made it safe & sound to Hawaii. Good Luck & enjoy!
