spyder water pump
Monday my 2016 spider rt water pump cracked. 4600 miles on it. any one else had this.

Never heard of one cracking . . many over the years leaking...bummer but should be covered...

Wow, thank God that you have a 2-year warranty for the Can Am Spyder. If you got the 3-year extended warranty than good for you. Get that service as quickly as possible.

Be aware that to get to the water pump (the impeller went on mine) on the semi-auto transmission - you did not say what transmission you have - the clutch cover on the right has to be removed. When my ex dealer did this, they neglected to reinstall two of the cover bolts, and did not torque the rest. The result was a massive oil leak. I added oil a couple of days before I took it to another dealer, and by then it was 2 1/2 quarts low. Something to be on the lookout for.
