So which speakers should I get?
I have an 14 RTL and I have to say, the stock speakers suck! Which replacement speakers do you recommend? I would like to replace both front and rear.

J&M Speakers
I want to upgrade my OEM Speakers on my 2015 SE6 RT with the J&M ones
It looks like I will have to purchase from the USA direct
I looked on the J&M 2016/2017 product catalog and the Spyder speakers are not listed
Are these still available and where would be the best place to purchase the Front & Rear sets from
eBay has a number of sets for Harley's & Goldwings with part numbers for sale but I'm not sure if any would be a direct replacement for the Spyder
Does anyone know the J&M part/model numbers for the RT Spyder ones
Thanks

If you want J & M speakers try these suppliers. They are usually cheaper then J&M

I ended up going with JBL's. Haven't installed them yet but I have high hopes.

I installed JBL also. Newer version than what Blueknight Mike installed. Work well.
I did fabricate filler spacers for the rears.
Also, it was pretty straightforward to make wiring polarity adapters that allowed me not to cut the oem wire harness.
FWIW, if you wash the bike, or ride in the rain, the front speakers may get water on them and not sound as good. So far no issues, simply the sound coming through the puddle of water on the Carbon Fibre speaker cone.

So what size JBL is the right size ? Are all years of RT's the same speaker size ?

All RTs use the same size speakers; regardless of when they were built...

I put 5.25 's in the rear of my RT and after I did it some others followed and did it also.... Go to Mods forum and look at Laura's Mods page ...She posted pics .... if your still interested , the rear speaker HOLE ( for the magnet end ) has to be enlarged to 4 5/8" ...... This size speaker sounds way better than a 4 inch ........ good luck...... Mike .......To find Her mods ...type in Laura's Mods - in the search box at top of this page
