Default WTB: backrest for comfort seat

    Hi guys!

Anyone have a backrest for my 2015 RT with BRP Comfort Seat they want to sell?

    Thanks!
So raise the sails, and trim all the sheets.
Set your course, and jam all the cleats.
We'll follow the north star to know where we are.
So, you sleepyheads, get out of bed, right now.
Let your fortunes be cast to the wind

I think that one was for the stock seat, not the comfort seat. My understanding is that they're not interchangeable.

Thanks. If you change your mind and are willing to sell without the seat, let me know.

FWIW, I believe your're not seeing any sellers because the adjustable backrest for the Comfort Seat, although expensive, is worth its weight in reduced day-long driver fatigue.

Second FWIW, I resisted popping for the backrest for three years and 34K+ miles; didn't think I'd benefit from it. Trips to Spyders on the Bayou and the D3WR, 6,200+ total miles, proved ther error of my thinking. Oh, and my bride giving me one for Christmas made us both happy.

I may have one for sale soon. Like Trikermutha above, I will be selling my heated comfort seat and backrest. I would like to offer them together first, but if they don't sell in a reasonable time, I will sell the backrest separately. I can guarantee you that there is a difference between the stock seat backrest and the comfort seat backrest. The brackets are completely different, and not available separately. I'm awaiting the arrival of my new Ultimate Seat before I make it available for sale. Should be about 2 more weeks max. I also will be selling my original stock seat. All are for/from my 2015 RTL in black, and in perfect condition. If you are interested, keep me in mind and pm me in a couple of weeks.

    Default Backrest

Just received my new 2018 RTL yesterday. Have my backrest from my 2014 RTL “Lamonster Edition”. How do I get it installed on my new one????
Replaced my Lamonster Certified RT Limited #1874 With a 2018 RTL.

Great news! Feel free to give me a shout if you end up selling the Backrest separately!

That’s all good news, and I’m glad to hear that money will be well spent. Just trying to not spend it all at once .😉
