    Default Really. ...😲

seems all predictions are so far into the future that all of us here now will never see hear or feel any of it. We need less predictions and more solutions for the here and now.... How many years has this planet been around...?

And a lot of people thought the world ended last Tuesday!

I'll have to check my schedule to see if I'll be able to move to a new planet then.

Default Well... I believe it will all end....

...but not in the way that Dr. Hawking has predicted. I'm not confident to say when... I just don't know when. I just want to make it through each day and figure out - like one of my old teachers told us - how to make someone else's day better. If this is too political/religious/philosophical and out-of-bounds for this forum, an admin can delete it and I would not be offended.

Sorry to hear that we have such a short time left.

Here is some musical humor to lighten the subject up a bit.

It's our buddies from Hee Haw of course.

Many of us have more pressing things to worry about. So, I don't worry about the small stuff.

    Hi Gene,

Re: How many years has this planet been around...?

Depending upon your source: 4.5 -> 5.5 billion years. And she is expected to have a total lifetime of 12 billion years.

For more info, I recommend THE LIFE AND DEATH OF PLANET EARTH by Peter Ward & Donald Brownlee.
