Sorry to have offended you and a few others. My goal was to have BRP correct the problem on future productions. My other bike is a 2007 Suzuki Hayabusa with a Stage 2 Velocity Turbo putting out 344 rwhp & 210# torque on a 530# bike. This isn't my 1st rodeo. Could I have some cheese on that cracker?. Dyno chart attached.

I think whine would be more appropriate for you to have with your cracker. :-)

Yes--regardless of what other posts may say, it does not solve the problem for all of us, I can understand their loyalty, but bull**** has never satisfied me, why else would I say this if it wasn't true??? The problem is engine vibration in the 3200-3800 range--the engine is not balanced--the entire site can blame it on the belt---so why do some of us still feel vibration after the BRP roller assy is installed???

I hate to have to say this , but your finely-tuned buzz-finding butt is probably set to be too sensitive.
Dan is right: anything with an engine will produce vibrations, and triples can often be pretty funky.
You can either accept them for what they are...

...or move on to the next project.

These bikes don't have a problem; other than riders who have a problem accepting them for what they are.

Rode 200 plus miles on the F3 today with the new BRP tensioner in place and I was amazed. All the belt vibration is gone. Only thing I could feel at times was a little vibration from the engine, which was very minor. BRP really hit a home run with this cheap upgrade for the F3's!

Doc, how can I get a bracket for the F3 tensioner to fit my 2016 RT Limited?

Bob, just to clarify, 2013 and under RT's use an outer ribbed belt. Not sure if that would cause a bunch of noise or not

Not sure you can say one year has ribs on the back of the belt and one does not. Replacement belts are smooth. I have also had a number of 2013s around with the smooth belt as OEM. Have not paid attention to the 2012s but will watch.

I do not think the small roller used on the BRP tensioner would work well on the ribbed belt. Either change belts, or use the larger smooth spyder tensioner.

There is a number of images that are non related to the Idler - is there a video or some images showing an installation - I just received my idler with no hardware or instructions (Nice Job BRP) and would like to install it for this weekend.

What a pisser - BRP makes a mistake and leaves the idler off our bikes - has the balls to make us pay for their mistake - then have the nerve to not put instructions and expect us to drag our ass to the dealer and pay them a few hours - Ain't Life Great!

Seems to me with thousands of these damn things vibrating all over the US there would be a video somewhere!

SmoothSpyder cured ALL of our vibrations at ALL rpm. It sounds like you have some engine-related vibrations that the rest of us do not......

Had it done last week, Firefly......no more buzzing....it's great, and well worth the price to me......but it's not the best $40 I ever spent on my Spyder........the best $40 I spent would be on GAS . Actually, $40 would probably buy you a whole gallon these days

My 2015 F3 is an awesome ride, but the vibration above 62mph was very disturbing and distracting.
The vibration was most noticeable when feathering the throttle anywhere above 62mph. It was most annoying at 70mph and above. In fact I was hesitant to ride above 60 just because I thought my F3 was going to vibrate to pieces.
Installed the idler pulley and what a difference. The vibration is almost non existent now. I am very pleased.
Seems to me this ought to be installed at the factory.

I installed mine on Christmas Eve, one armed no less, due to rotator cuff surgery, that was an interesting install. We had some great weather here in NC, but I can't check it out to see how good it is for another 2 months or so until I can use the other arm .. Like everyone else, I agree that BRP should reimburse us for the cost, granted it's only $35.00, it should of been a recall or something don't think it would of bankrupt the company.

Not "everyone else" agrees that BRP should reimburse us, cmarsala. Some don't have any issue with it, some just drive through it with no concerns, and some it annoys the crap out of. It didn't annoy the crap out of me, but I thought it would be a good mod to install, so I outlaid $40 and voila.....no more buzzing.
