Rider Magazine--December 2016
Check out the centerfold ad in the December 2016 edition.
A two page spread showing the Motor Trike conversion (spyder style) for two separate models of Honda. A GW and a CTX 700.
The conversion--IMO--is the most ugly thing that could happen to either motorcycle.
The coffin front makes the F3's look like they were styled by geniuses.
The GW--what can I say? It looks like an afterthought with a GW pushing a coffin on a trailer down the road.
When, and if, Honda comes out with a reverse trike, I am sure hoping they will have the styling thought out better than the conversion.
I usually like Motor Trike stuff, and have had the drools many times. Here--what were they thinking?

Apologies folks. I was thinking that most are regular Rider readers (say that one five times fast).
I do not have the ability to scan--so if someone else will, thank you in advance.
The link provided above shows the 700 version and digging into it, there are many great pictures.

I've been calling the bike butt ugly for a couple of years. I've seen them at the WingDing and other Honda conventions.

As I always say....
They are well done and probably work well too but they always look like a motorcycle pushing a cart.... and there are quite a few out there....

Doors not beaten upon.
No one has beaten the doors in to get one installed where I hang out.
If I can't fix it, I will fix it so no one can fix it. Sypder Loco!

Butt Ugly covers this one for sure.
As mentioned earlier, I like most Motor Trike stuff and was considering doing my Vulcan 900 into a trike. That one had my mouth watering.
Well, IMO, it didn't look quite so ugly in real life when I looked at one at Wing Ding, but that ain't sayin' much! It's a little bit like the difference in reaction to the the F3 front design in real life in contrast to just seeing the photos.

I test drove one at Wingding and IMO they are poorly made and While I think the 2 wheels in the front are better than a trike, this isn't worth the money. The test rides were booked solid so I didn't get to ride any of the other options, but I saw at least one that was built a lot better.
One of the hardest decisions you'll ever face in life is choosing whether to walk away or try harder.
