When I was a kid growing up in 1950's small town Texas, I would listen to Cubs games on WLS AM radio at night (they were repeats since there were only day games then) during baseball season when the station could boost their signal strength to some astronomical number, and it could be heard in central TX. So I was am still am a fan. WIN TONIGHT!!

I grew up in Chicagoland and my mom was a big Cubs fan so we would often go to Ladies' Day games with my aunts and cousins. I never enjoyed baseball, too slow for me but I am glad to see that the Cubs have finally made it this far.
One thing I never learned is which league is which. I have to ask is the National League the Cubs league or the Sox league?
