Real Happy with 14,000 mile service and dealer - Maxim in Peru, IN
Just picked up my 2012RT after a 14k service. On 70 mile ride home, I noticed the bike to be more responsive. At 70 mph, the temp was down two bars (I have scoops) - A new clean air filter has helped.
Dealer said they found some clip from the throttle cable in the oil pan? He seamed to act that this is a normal problem. I don't understand, but they fixed the clip.
I like this dealer Maxim in Peru, IN.

Good to Hear.....
Glad you had a great experience with the 14,000 mile service. Did they do the valves and were they out...?? Don't know where this oil pan thing is must be an RT Se5 thing... Finally meet someone from Peru Indiana...being from Lima Peru SA often wonder how you all got the name...

I am in Bloomington and am debating on going to Peru or Evansville for my service. I am closer to Flatout but their labor rate for are much higher. I have heard nothing but good things about Maxim and don't have any references for the Evansville dealer yet.

Clarksville Indiana , the is one here , most likely the same every where , a bit high ! now I wonder , if some one took off the cover panels , would this kick the price down a lot ?

The folks in Peru
The folks in Peru were nice, and when they told me the bike was done, it was done.
I would think any previous labor you do before they work on the bike, would save time, which means many. However a experienced tech can take the covers off real quick.

Great dealer!!
I have used Maxim in Peru for a couple of years now and have had nothing but great experiences dealing with them. Although it's a 70 mile ride for me to get there it is definitely worth it. Their labor rates are also much better than some closer dealers I have checked out.
My new ride is a 2017 F3-L: BRP drivers backrest, F4 21" tinted shield w/vent, Lamonster fog lights, TRCLED cyclops light, red/black carbon fiber tank protector and dash kit from Wrap-My-Spyder, FOBO tire pressure monitors and more farkles to come.

I've seen a tech take the tupperware off in a matter of minutes. Heck, I'm not a tech and I can take it off in less than 15 minutes.
