    Default Ultimate Seat Installed!

I have a 2015 RSS and my wife has decided after a year hiatus we are going to do Christmas this year. I am completely new to riding and wondering what types of modifications are available. I have added BRP fog lights and have a seat picked out. I'm new and green to riding. What are some mods or accessories I can add?

    Default Hard to say...

Being new don't know how much time you have on the spyder. There are three main farkel/mods divisions. Safety, comfort and bells and whistles. You have started with some safety adding lights. You can browse the home page vendors for a plethera of cool items. Do you ryde solo or double will help to know as well as touring or backroads twisting and turning. Happy shopping...

I ride single. My wife has her own RT so we stay together. I think I have settled on a seat and possibly a touring windshield. She wants a lidlock for Christmas so I'm going to add that eventually as well.

I like to hit the curves and my manual transmission over her paddle shift, but when we're together I have to behave lol

I will check out the vendor pages. Thank you!

If you like to"hit the curves" you want to check out the BajaRon Sway Bar kit for both your Spyders. It will improve the ride and handling in corners whether you hit them hard or not. Very worthwhile addition. This should be on both your Safety and Comfort lists. There are lots of threads here on the benefits of this modification.

You've also discovered you need a Baja Ron anti-sway bar. Another must have, IMHO, is a bump skid

Asking this bunch of folks about which farkles are available and which to get is opening a big can of worms. There's almost everything you can think of to buy. One strategy would be to ride until you perceive an issue you'd like to have improved on your Spyder and then shop for that. Also, attend some rallies and you'll meet lots of folks and see how they've farkled their rydes.

No Spyder is complete until you have the MadStad adjustable windshield system. It gives you comfort and adjustablity that you deserve.

I did some research; since, I am a newbie on a motorcycle. These are the following items that I would consider for Safety & Maintenance.

    1) Idler Puley. Part No. 219800412
    2) F3 BajaRon sway bar (Lamonster Garage)
    3) H4 LED Headlights (Lamonster Garage)
    4) F3 LED Foglights (Lamonster Garage)
    5) Back Rest
    6) Windshield

As for my personal opinion, the less electronics the better.

You will sit back about 1 -1/2 inches from the stock seat and your reach will be extended to the handlebars ..Just and FYI The Ultimate seat has been real comfortable for me.

    Default Ultimate seat installed

VERY easy installation. I think it looks great! Wasn't done until after dark so the pictures aren't the greatest but the folks at Ultimate matched the colors perfectly!

(I couldn't figure out how to edit the thread title)

    Default A TricLED Christmas

Installed DRLs and Halos. Went very well. Got it done working just a few hours after work each night this week. Also installed the longer parking brake pedal. If they can't see me coming now I'm not sure how to help them lol

Made a short YouTube as picture don't do it justice.
