It was more comfortable than the stock seat but wasn't exactly what I was looking for and so I decided to have a custom seat made at a local upholstery shop.new seat 2.jpgnew seat.jpg

Question?
Is the rear passenger seat thicker then the stock F3-S and if so guess by how muck. If the passenger seat is to high won't work my wife is 5'1" and I had to put spacers on footpegs for her to put feet flat on pegs.
Thanks

Then it's obvious you should save $2 and buy the one on eBay!

It is a little thicker than the stock seat but not much, probably about 2" or less. I used the stock pans to have a taller seat made for my 5'10" wife to try to get her a little more room to stretch out so I don't have the stock seat to measure the difference. I'd do $525 delivered, thanks.

Thanks for the update.
I had to raise the rubber in pegs about a 1/2" or so and not sure I can raise them any farther I'm sure she would compress the seat a little but I'd still have to raise pegs.
I really like the looks of your seat now awesome job!
I'm going to RedRock Spyder Rally. Maybe someone will have one there and we can see if it'll work if you haven't sold it by then!
Thanks again

Thank you, the new seat is quite comfortable for both of us, I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Thanks again for taking a look, if you do see one and decide it will work just let me know. Enjoy the Rally, wish I could have made it. I rode through that area a couple of years ago on my RT, beautiful country and a great time of year to be riding there.
