Seat options
I am looking to change out the seat on the 2013 ST SE5 I just bought.
Will the seat from a 2014 ST or ST Limited fit on my bike?

The '13, '14 and '15 ST models are all the same, only difference is color choices. So, yes '14 seat should fit, but why would you do that, the seats should be the same, unless the
'14 seat is a "Comfort seat". Good luck.
Current ride: 2013 Circuit Yellow ST-S SE5

Great seat
I changed my seat soon after I got my 2013 ST Limited. I purchased the Ultimate Seat with back rest. I have put on more than 300 mi some days with no seat pain.

How about a seat from a 2012 RT Limited - will it fit my 2013 ST?
In an orderly world, I'm addicted to chaos.

If the comfort is so good, why did you get an ultimate? Mine is still for sale. A bargain for someone.

I'm, new here, how can you identify a Comfort seat from a standard seat. I have a 2013 ST SE5 and I like the seat it came with, I am the second owner.

The BRP "comfort seat" costs about $600 these days. A bargain, compared to some. It will set you back about three inches, has a good lumbar support without adding a back rest. The selling point for me is more and better padding. It does not turn to mush after 50 miles. I can ride much further and usually do not need to go into the trunk for the sheepskin/gel or the AirHawk.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.
Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)
MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles
IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

But how can I tell? Is there some identifier (Name, model number, to tell between the standard, the comfort or the Ultima seat?
Not having been on a Spyder since they were introduced at Daytona bike week in 2008 I have no reference. I immediately thought the seat on the one I bought was extremely comfortable, I wondered if it was an updated seat from standard. Maybe you can tell from my picture?MySpyder.jpg

Thanks, those picture cleared my questions. I have the standard. But changing from riding adventure bikes I thought the seat on my new Spyder was quite comfortable after riding it home 300 miles.

Based on the picture, it looks like you have the OEM "mush" seat.

How much?

Confusing the issues a bit...
Where does the Mustang seat fall in all of this - with respect to padding and length?
