There is only one Battery Tender, and it is made in Florida by Deltran. There are many battery chargers / maintainers, but only one Battery Tender. I have been using Battery Tenders for at least 25 years, on all of my vehicles and boats, when they aren't being used, they are hooked up to a Tender. This process has extended the life of my batteries at leat 75%

Deltran battery tender. I have several. I have one that does little 12 volt, larger 12 volt, and 6 volt batteries. I even have one that is for lithium batteries. Never a problem. If you let the battery get too low they won't charge. I had that happen once when I left the key on on my TU250X. I had to hit it with a regular charger and then the battery tender finished the job.

A really great dealer like Honda Can Am of Winston-Salem installs a Battery Tender on all new Spyders.
If I can't fix it, I will fix it so no one can fix it. Sypder Loco!

    Default Deltran

I have used Deltran Battery Tenders exclusively for many years. We live in Oswego NY. The winters test both man and machine. My FJR1300 spent at least eight winters hooked up to a Deltran. Every Spring it started right up. We spend the Winter in Florida and we leave one of our vehicles in the garage on a Deltran. Never a problem in the Spring. My stand-by generator is connected to a Deltran Jr.. As far as I am concerned, a Deltren Battery Tender is the only battery tender to use.

P.S. I DO NOT work for Deltran.

Been using Battery Tenders for years and never had a problem. Picking up a new RT Limited tomorrow and the Battery Tender harness will be one of the first things that I add to it.

And don't forget to add the starred washers to the battery bolts so they don't loosen until you loosen them!
