Default Spyder has taken me through a full range of emotions

Since I've gotten the Spyder, I've been the happiest riding motorcycle that I've ever been......HOWEVER, trying to do maintenance on the dam thing has also taken me to some of the most angry times I've had.....Some engineers really need a dose of reality. You can tell they've never turned a wrench on anything for maintenance. The latest.....the upper A-Arm grease fittings. Uhhhh, you put grease fittings there, but you can't get a grease gun on em.....WTF? Maybe I need a different tip for my grease gun, or perhaps they could have put 45* zerks in there?? I guess that would have made too much sense

A lot of folks here have run into similar emotions.

I consider myself "very fortunate" that I don't have a very good selection of tools, and therefore have to take my Spyder to the dealer for such antics as "routine maintenance".

Roger has called our "mystery engineer "Jean-Luc"...
If Jean-Luc had spent some time saying:

    What the Hell is That.jpg,

Perhaps some of the foolishness that we deal with; might never have happened!

Well, BillyBovine steered me in the right direction for a grease gun fitting in a similar thread started by another viewer...that has eased my blood pressure a bit...LOL...

You've got to admit: there's something satisfying about figuring out how to get around all of the land-mines, that Jean-Luc pitched into your path...
