You might have to put washers on the fenders to help for room. I have a set of the same size in my shop waiting till my front wear out.

We use 175/55R15 with no problems on our 2013 and on. So, it will also fit on your 14", it is the same fenders....

I put 175/65 R 14 Kumho Solus on the front without any interference issues. I like them. Reasonable grip, will slightly understeer if you push them hard enough, but at that point you'll have high lateral G forces.

    Default RSS Front Tires

2012 RSS SE5. Just installed General Altimax RE 43 on the fronts. Went up one size to 175 65 R 14. They fit fine. Had a General on the back so matched them up. They feel good- rode today on wet roads and felt like a great grip. 16 lbs. in the front and 26 rear. Thanks for the help.

I think you meant ....RT 43 ..... I have been recommending this tire for quite awhile now I think you will really like it long term.......This is just a suggestion try lowering the rear to 22 PSI ... the sidewalls are plenty stiff enough to support even two up riding ......... Mike

    Default Altimax

Knightrider- You are right RT-not RE. Will try the lower tire pressure as it has been a stiffer ride with 26 Lbs. Thanks. John

. Accidently I ran my Michelin at 6 PSI very slowly to the nearest service station.....and the RIM was not touching the ground ( I had no choice )...... I'm sure the Altimax could do the same ..........just sayin....... Mike
