    Default Setting F3 stuff.

Either I am a total idiot or the BRP manual writer is, but I spent an hour tonight trying to set my clock, get from K's to M's and set the date. The directions in the little booklet that came with it don't seem to work. Anyone know a set of useful directions to accomplish that?

It definitely has a lot to be desired. I said the same thing when we acquired our F3.

Choose either a 12 or 24 hour clock.

Highlight "hour" and move right. Move the highlight up or down until it's on the hour you want. Then move the highlight back left to the "12/24; hour; minute" selection menu.

Highlight "minute" and move right. Move the highlight up or down until it's on the minute you want. Then move the highlight back left.

Push the mode button until you see the speedo/tach screen. Check the time display.

(This is from memory, so I hope it works.)

In with the manual package there is a kind of quick start guide that walks you through all the settings, good luck if your trying to find it in the manual.

I would have thought that the dealer should have done this as part of the prep procedure?

Thats pretty funny. The tech I asked pushed buttons for awhile, got out the manual, looked at it pushed more buttons till I said I'd just go ahead and try it myself. I'll try PS's way and see what happens.
