    Default Working on a Solution

Sold the BRP backrest that I had. I bought the HD backrest below on ebay. ($66) Waiting for it to arrive. I'm making my own mounting brackets(under $50). Once mounted, I will staple a piece of matching leather/vinyl to the back to hide the mounting points.

These are the ones from BRP, I picked up a set for when my granddaughter rides with me.

I've been told that the f3 armrest ONLY works if you have the BRP detachable backrest.

    Is this right??

    Default F3 backrest

I just picked up a pair of these.
It is weird that no instructions come with them.
You have to download the instructions from Can-Am, they say due to current potential revisions...

What is interesting is that nowhere does it say anything about having to remove the passenger heated hand grips!!!
But that is what you have to do, so I stopped, because I will have to remove the 2 seats and drivers backrest first, then trace the wiring to unplug it. I was only going to use them on long windy trips anyway... so I never found out about the backrest issue if there is one, but I do not think it matters, as I have a 17 Limited which has the passenger backrest mounted on the trunk - it looked like it would be fine...

Yes and No, this is how I've set mine up, wife and granddaughter love them. These are the BRP armrest's and an aftermarket tourpak and a backrest I modified to work. Here's the tour pak I used, just had to cut off the armrest off of the backrest to make it work, the tour pak is mounted on the Baker luggage rack. http://www.bakerbuiltairwings.com/pr...p?prod=SPYF3LR, https://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Motor...JWjLNg&vxp=mtr
