    Default Bad Head Gasket

Just checking to see if anyone has had a problem with a bad head gasket on there 2014 RTS SE6's or newer model of the RTS. I haven't read anything on this site about this problem. If there are any other spyders out there with this problem, how long was it down for repairs. Mine was down 2 months and 2 days, just wondering if that is normal down time for this type of repair.

No, that is not a normal length of time to replace a head gasket. Parts should take less than a week to get, the repair itself is 2 days being generous on time.

We had to have the head gaskets on both of ours replaced due to oil leaks...we had a great dealership...the ordered the parts, we dropped them off and if I recall, back on the road in a couple of days.

    Default No way.....

It should not take that amount of time. Most will depend on parts (big problem with brp) and the dealer (multi brand dealers may take longer) but should still not take that long...from my experience....
