    Default Exhaust fumes

    Howdy Folks,
Picked up a 2009 GS with Hindle Exhaust. Every time I ride it, I get wicked exhaust fumes. It gets so bad that my clothes actually smell bad.(yes, I shower regularly!&#128540.
    Anyone else have this problem?
As always, Thanks for all your insight and advice👍

    Default Tough one...

I have an RS 2012 and ran a hindle pipe till it rattled apart for the third time and never had the exhaust issue you speak of. What comes to mind are exhaust leaks, Y gaskets muffler leaks header etc. If you have a fuel contoler setting may be off. 'Gasoline would be a different set of reasons.

    Check your "Y" pipe gaskets.

I suspect the cat has alot to do with the fumes.
Stock exhaust on GS has Cat ... Not on aftermarket ( Hindle , Yoshimura, Two Bros etc )

If the exhaust gaskets are good to go: I'd start looking seriously, at this unanswered question...

I have 25" touring screen + the associated wind deflectors on. I was breathing the bikes exhaust, clothes smelled & I got a headache on every ride.

Removed the wind deflectors & cured problem instantly.

    Default Thank You all!

First off, Thanks for all the insight.
    I don't have wind Deflectors.
The Hindle appears to be in the process of vibrating apart,
so unless I can figure out how to tighten
up the loose shields, I may go back to Stock😢.
Definitely going to check out gaskets etc.
    Thanks Folks,

Someone posted a Honda goldwing exhaust seal part # for the Y pipe on a thread however I can't find it. I had the same issue 2 years ago and I replaced with the brp seal now I believe I need to replace again. Does any one know the part # for the Honda or can link the thread I have searched all morning with no result.

    Patrick,
    Sempyder out,
