    Default Spyder RT cover

I am thinking about buying a Show Chrome rear luggage rack for my 2014 Spyder RT limited. I know my BRP half cover will not fit over the rack. Will the BRP full cover fit over the rack? I use the half cover frequently so does anyone know an aftermarket one that fits over the rack? I don't use the full cover much but it seems the BRP might work as there is some slack around the trunk door. Thanks!

    Sorry...
There's not a bit of slack, and the BRP full cover will also no longer fit.

I have a Show Chrome rack and this is the cover that I use. It fits perfectly over the rack. Good price, too.

    John,
As I recall: there's a little bit more slack in the fit of the half-cover; right?

Bob, after I put the rack on, my half cover would no longer fit, as it did not have enough stretch to get over the rack. I had heard that the BRP full cover also would not fit, so I ended up getting the full cover from Big Bike Parts, which is bigger than the BRP cover. And, at $94.90 with shipping, a better deal than the BRP cover.

    Default I have both covers

One large Tourmaster is the full cover and a BRP half cover. Neither one fit after I installed my trunk rack. I took both covers to a skilled custom upholstery shop and had expanded panels installed in each cover to accommodate the trunk rack. I supplied the material and the cost to modify the two covers was $50.

However, just for info, the pocket on that cover is too small to fit over an F4 tall and wide windshield. I had one. Switched to a Guardian cover which fits over the windshield quite nicely. I think it would probably go over a trunk rack also.

I have the rack on our RT as well, and I use a full cover, UltraGuard. Works great! AND cheaper than a BRP cover.

Ultra Guard 1/2 or full cover will work with a larger windshield or rack and probably both and 1/4th the price of a BRP cover.

I have that rack and the Ultraguard from Value Accessories works very well. and is a good buy for the quality of cover you get. Nothing from BRG will work once you put the ShowChrome rack on your trunk.

Now as to that rack, I have had it for a year and if I didn't have the holes drilled in the trunk lid I would take it off and find something that gave me a level platform. Or learn to do without one. You can't put that much weight on it anyway and I no longer like the looks of it ,but there are those holes

    Great cover
And some say it's not rain proof but I have never had a drop get through
