    Default BUDS port

I own BUDS, have used it on a few Spyders and am confident in hooking it up. My 2915 F3s puzzles me. I can't get a connection. The plug is under the frunk insert and has far fewer wires running into it.

Any ideas why I can connect to every other Spyder but mine?

Do not try and use the one under the trunk, the correct one is under the top plastic cover right hand side beside the radiator fill cap, have you updated the BUDS software to the F3 if not it will not read it.
    Updated my BUDS last year.

Some Spyders have two plugs. They are identical in shape. One has 3 wires. The other has 6 wires. Use the one with 6 wires. There usually is a white tag around those wires also. The plug may be tucked into a blank socket in the tuperware for storage.

    Bruce:

I did read your post. I merely was adding a little extra information that I thought the OP and others may find helpful. Please read my post with the bold, underlined words. You may understand where I was going with it.

BUDS is more accurately the software program that interfaces with your Spyder and implements diagnostic trouble code reads and changes/modifications to the system that runs your Spyder.
The CAN-BUS system your Spyder uses is a proprietary version of the industry standard.
It has quite a few differences which is why you can't just hang a normal DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) reader on to the connector and get anything useful.
