    Default Hard to turn

I have a 2014 ST-S with 2,000 miles on it. I have had the Baja Ron sway bar installed and have had a laser alignment. Tire pressure is good and no codes are displaying.

Recently it is hard to turn left. I don't notice it when turning right. Sometimes it feels like it isn't going to turn then it feels like something breaks loose to allow me to turn. Then I get that squirelly feeling of an over steer like before I got the sway bar.

Any ideas what would be causing this?

    Default hard to turn

Sounds like something is rubbing, binding. Get a flash lite out loose your front panels and have a good look from above and below on a set of ramps. Let us know what you find, dead possum, moose or a old shirt

    Default Little checking..

The sway bar will have nothing to do with this. I don't know who did the alignment but hope they had the buds proram and reset the angle sensor. with checking around under there...

Hopefully it isn't a moose! I think I would have noticed that. I dropped it off at my dealer today so I will let them figure it out.

Get your DPS (Dynamic Power Steering) checked as soon as possible. This may not be it and it could be other things as mentioned above. But it sure sounds like it could be the DPS and if it is you want it fixed before you ride it much more.

Baja Ron sway bar was installed by SpyderPops and alignment was done by Squared Away. All of that was done a year ago and this problem just started happening a few weeks ago. I've been afraid to ride it so I hope the dealer has some answers soon.

Thanks for all of the responses.

Sounds like the steering torque sensor needs to be recalibrated.

    Default Intermittent Steering Loss

Same thing happened to my 2013 ST-S under 3000 miles. I had it for a few repairs and power steering failure when turning was one of the issues. After two weeks and a major transmission repair, the mechanic had it happen to him on his last test drive. They replaced the DPS unit and it's been perfect since.
