1994 all over again
My brother lives just north of Houston - Spring, TX. In 1994 his house flooded --- water was 7' deep (could see the water line on the walls just about 1' from the ceiling). He was in bed last night when something was really banging on his house (neighbor). He got out of bed and right away got into 2' of water. He managed to get out with his car and some dry clothing. Spyder is under about 6' (at least) water - and expected to get deeper. Sad.
Does have flood insurace - see how that goes.
Pray for the safety and well being of folks in that area.

I'm glad to hear that he got out!
The Spyder should be covered by his insurance on it, and the Flood Insurance will take care of the rest.

Glad he made it out ok.... Tom
Baloo is my name. Spyders are my game. Well, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, yes, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, I mean a doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee-dee-doo. And, well, now. Ha ha! What have we here?

Very sad, and my best wishes to your brother, et al. Maybe we should add to kbwitt's thread; Spyders that float.

Other info
Brother still unable to gain access to his home.
He does not have coverage on the Spyder - just liability coverage.
Some of you may remember him or his bike at SpyderFest. All of us stayed at the Best Western (Thanks, Joe!!). 2014 Limited Edition RT Cognac color with a rather large painting of ET on the Frunk. Bob is a Ham Radio Op and his call is: N5ET --- so he has a lot of ET 'stuff' in the house (or did).
Thanks all for best wishes.

My prayers go out to all the flooded folks in Texas!! They're getting hit really hard this year!!! At least your brother got out safe. Things can be replaced---people can't.....

Yeah, tell that to the folks in New Jersey that had flood insurance and still have no home to return to years later.

Pics and reports on TV in the area are devastating. Tom

Latest from Bob..
He can get to his house now. Water level rose about 3.5 feet in the house; a little bit more in the garage. Spyder was fully covered in water - and Bob's dealer wants to see it Tuesday.
Flood insurance should be something else again -- hope the Red Tape is not too much for him.
