I've ridden 1,500 miles for barbecue so two hours for pancakes is a cake walk!

We essentially did the same thing. At the time I was doing the Smoke Chasin Grand Tour for TeamStrange, capturing as many BBQ places we could find. They had this particular category that involved grabbing 15 joints in 15 states in 15 days .GF was reading the rules and said "do you know we need one in Kansas". to which I said "Really, guess we are going to Kansas now"

No Bob it is a Challenge!

We once rode to Llano TX from here (1000+ miles) just to eat at the World Famous BBQ there. They BBQ all kinds of Exotic Animals plus the usual. You walk outside to the BBQ pits with "butcher paper" and have them cut off what and how much. After this you go inside and weigh it and pay for it by the pound. Take the meat to a table of your choice and then feast on a 40 foot salad bar. We are doing it again this fall and will RON in Fredricksberg, TX to stay at the famous "airport hotel". It is located in an old WWII hanger with bar and restaurant. Try it you will like it.
