Heated Seats
Hi all,
With winter approaching down here in the southern hemisphere I am looking at options to heat my seats on the my 2012 RT. I already have the standard heated hand grips which are fantastic. Rather replacing my existing seat, I was thinking would it be possible to add seat heaters and wire them back to the switches that activate the heated hand grips. Has anyone done this before?
Cheers
Glenn

Good idea Glenn. One of the sponsors here sells heated seat inserts, motorcycle dave maybe? My sheepskin is fine for me, but as I'm loving my heated vest sooooo much I'm keeping my eye out for heated pants, though nobody seems to sell them in oz.

the whole thing can be done for about 40 use and an order to amazon.
The backrest is more important than the seat.
I have done about 4 or 5 installs.

What heater inserts are you using? I've done a few in cars, but am concerned that they may not like getting wet.
