Male stereo plug
Does anyone know what the male stereo plug is on my 2014 RT on the right side toward the rear of the fuel tank behind the lower panel. It is zip tied there with a cover protecting it and it looks to go back toward the radio.

Thanks for your response. Could music be jacked into that lead?

The simple answer is yes, but the right answer is no.
That is a special input designed for the gps. It is a stereo plug. The gps puts out stereo. It looks like stereo signal goes into radio. But mono sound comes out the radio speakers. One channel just disappears. Any audio going into that input will override any other input, even the mute function. Quieter sections of the music will cut out. So the music quality will just suck. If you want to input music into the radio. Use the Ipod connector in the trunk and the mp3 cable.

Lamont put a video on YouTube showing how he placed a car Bluetooth receiver on his F3 and linked it to his IPhone. He also said it could be done to the RT but he never showed or said where to make this simple plug in connection. I was hoping it was the plug we have been referring to.

Sure you can do that. Just need to plug into the jack in your rear trunk. Using the mp3 cable that should have come with your Spyder.
