I like 70 when the traffic will allow. On my 2012 RT that corresponds to 5000 in 5th. I have ridden for miles at 80 on some of the freeways in UT and was just fine.

I like cruising the back roads about 55mph or 90 kph.

I like to be the 2nd fastest vehicle on the highway. That way if he is going just a bit faster than me, the Leo's will get him and not me. I like about 77mph. No vibrations and moving at a reasonable pace.

I cruise between 70 and 75 mph on the interstate. Not for the bike, it does fine, but for me. At that speed I can "goose" it a bit when I need to, control a relative quick stop and adjust to changing road conditions comfortably.

My sweet spot is usually two to three miles above the posted limit.
Here, I drive 60 in the 55's, 68 in the 65's, and 73 in the 70's. I get no shaking of any kind, the gas mileage is "normal" at 31 or so for the 998 and 39-41 for the 1330. When you get past 70, the mileage will go down a bit--but--for most, that is not an issue.

Well first off I have to get out of state to enjoy any speed , not just the limits but the quality of roads But at spyderfest I did enjoy the 60-80 range where I could
However was short lived as I'm back home now i still have my routs but more for views & destinations than the speed I get there Im a happy laid back no rush redneck anyway

With my 2014 I get my best miles per gallon around 55 but other than that I drive the speed limit + 5%, so 60 will be 63 on the GPS or 64 on the speedo. I do not believe I have a favored sweet spot, I have been over 100 mph and no issues.

about 83
On the Eway I usually set the cruise at about 83 and the GPS states about 80, Ride is smooth and comfortable. I generally set about 10 over regardless.

The faster the Sweeter..
Between 82 and 85 is best for me, I get a little belt harmonics (not much) between 75 and 80 but just a tad faster and it smooths out...but I can pretty much run any speed if needed...

Low & Slow here: about 65 mph...
But should the need arise... I can crank it up!

I like 75 but, my spyder belt vibration is bad. So I have to do 76.

I am a 5-7 MPH above the speed limit to avoid the flashing lights. I get a belt vibration about 73-76 so I stay away from that range. I will admit to ocasionally opening it up to "clean it out"

WARRENTY ISSUE
I asked Lamont at Spyderfest if I had a warranty issue? The issue is that above 100 mph I hear what sounds like a woman screaming. He just looked at me! Well I've learned that if I stay below 90 mph I have absolutely no problems.

Like some others, I like the Blue Highways...
Running 66-68 on the secondaries hits the sweet spot for me. 3400-3600 RPM gets me close to 40 MPG unless the headwind gets in the way...To each their own.

I go 70mph on interstate. No Problems.
