Zumo tire pressure monitors
Anyone using the Zumo tire pressure monitors and if so are you happy with them? Also, is it necessary to change the valve stems to steel?

Also using Fobo. Very accurate. I would like to use the zumo just to have to look at only one screen but don't have the right gps for it. I would also like to hear from someone using them.

I also use the FOBO ones, and they work great with the regular rubber valve stems.

I'm using the Zumo tire pressure on my RT now for almost 13,000 miles with no problem. I did not replace the valve stem to steal. I thought they were a little expensive but I do like them. I'm using the Zumo 390.

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to respond. We are going to try the Garmin ones as we already have the GPS.

If I already had the correct gps, I would do the same thing. If you don't like, you can always go to the Fobo system. Good luck with them. Give us a report.

to: o.p. Garmin TPMS
I have a set, for the 590 (390) never used, still in original boxes
If interested p.m. me
I'm going to spyderfest. are u ?

I would not buy again
I just left my two wheel which had Zumo tire pressure to a Garmin Zumo 590 LM. They drove me crazy, never worked right, constant reading on my GPS popping up saying they could not be recognized. I was going to look into something different for the Spyder

I like the idea of being able to use my android rather than gps to check tire pressure. Now I have a good quality gauge and use it.

Pros and Cons to both. I have the 590 but went with FOBO. I read the FOBO sensors were newer and more accurate? But I also rather be able to check with my phone at all times other than riding. It's nice to check from instead the house before you even go out, or when filling I have phone right there, no need to turn GPS on. Also the warning is nice, not sure if the Garmin has that. At the end of the day I think either is better than nothing but I really like the FOBOs.

Ditto
I use the Zumo TPM as well on the stock valve stems. No issues after 5K miles.
