I have the LG Tone Pro. They are bluetooth and work very well with my phone that streams music. I've had them for close to a year. I bought mine at Walmart. My next pair will probably be the LG Tone Pro Active. They are suppose to be better with moisture.

Is there an issue with helmet pulling out when putting on.

Are they noise cancèllation.

Don't mind spending more if comfort and value are there

I actually use the $20 ones from Wally World too,with wires still. Debating on bluetooth ones though. I tried a pair that were complete stand alone bluetooth, but they were too bulky and I couldn't even pull my helmet ON and keep them in place. Whatever you try need to be low profile for helmet don/dof purposes. I might try the ones posted above. I play music from my phone as well.

On my old helmet, I didn't have any problems. On my new helmet my right tends to come out. I have to jam them in my ear. I think it might get caught on my jacket around the neck though. I have an RSS and a F3S and I don't have any problems hearing the music at highway speeds. I do like the bluetooth and bought them for that reason. Plus it's regular earbuds and don't stick out of the ears to much to get caught inside helmet. I have small earholes, so earbuds are difficult to size on me.

I use these from ear fuze. they also have bluetooth style also but I use the plug in style with my SENA bluetooth com system.

They come with several different size buds and fit quite well.
They block a lot of the outside noise and I can answer a call also while listening to Pandora.
I have the Sena 10S but much prefer the LG setup.

I've had good luck with Skullcandy earbuds. The wire seems to hold up to the wind whip better than others I've used.

Etymotic Research makes the best earphones. Make the best earplugs as well ... commercial grade.

I bought the LG HBS-730 28 months ago. I'm surprised I haven't broken it yet by snagging one of the buds while removing a jacket or helmet. I'll just buy a newer model when that eventually happens. My recollection was that I paid around $100 for them, but when checking the Amazon invoice from November, 2013, they were only $42.30.

My best ear buds were purchased about 15 years ago from the folks that make the AeroStitch (sp?) riding suits - Riders WearHouse, or something like that. For about $150 they send materials that are inserted into the ear to get a custom fit, then the buds are returned and little Sony speakers are inserted. They were outstanding, but I snagged one of the wires.

The noise cancellation on any of my ear buds is not as effective as custom molded ones, and I ride a lot with these and have no music, GPS audio, or phone service - just me, the bike, and nature.

I got the MC5 from Amazon in May 2011 for $69.66. I prefer the LG Bluetooth to the Etymotic MC5, but looking at the Etymotic I notice they have a custom fit option. That might be a great investment if one would like to postpone hearing aids into late elderhood.

I am so pleased to read this comparison. I've lately been wondering about getting some helmet/audio options and maybe I'll just stick with LG and save a bundle of dollars.

Check out Bose Ear Buds. Then fit inside of your ear and as a result they do not come out when putting on or taking off your helmet.

I use Grado buds with my iPhone. They are among the best sounding most comfortable bar none on the planet, but are very expensive at almost 400.00.

have to admit I don't very often listen to music when I ride but am very picky about sound quality when I do.
