    Had to chime in again.

Now at 71 and with a new hip, I had to re-join the two wheel crowd. I added another Vulcan 900 (it fits me like a glove) to my fleet. I am having more fun that I should be allowed to.

I almost didn't buy a Spyder because of the dinosaurs I saw on them.
I'm in my early fifties and did not need "training wheels" and was considering a sport tourer as my other option. The Spyder won because the new F3s looked bad*ss and it was a totally different experience from two wheels. The people I approached on them prior to buying my bike seemed mostly laid back and conversational. The attitude was one that I enjoy and a local dealer that was recommended by a friend sealed the deal.

36 years of age here, and when I was buying mine, a lot of the employees at the dealership were saying things like "my grandpa loves his", and several similar comments. My main goal isn't to ride around town but see the country, and riding a Spyder is like riding in a lounge chair I never get tired or sore. If it only had an air conditioner.

And one of those food dispensing machines like they had on Star Trek.

I heard the same thing from one dealer, he insulted me without even knowing it. I too bought my ride......to ride. I have had and have planned many trips. My thoughts
