Chrome plating
I just purchased a 2016 F3 LTD Triple Black. I originally put a down payment on a regular LTD and ordered the chrome Pulley Cover, Chrome TMC Cover, and Chrome frame caps. Now that i'm getting the triple black, does anyone know if it is possible to BLACK CHROME AN ALREADY CHROMED PIECE?

Would there be any advantage to simply swapping parts with someone else?

Why would you do that? Nothing better than black and chrome. You can't have too much chrome!

I had several motorcycle and cae parts
bkack chromed that were already chrome,
they have to be stripprd to base metal and
start over with the process.

VDOMAN,
We powder coat black over chrome a lot with out any problems. Contact some one near you who will do powder coat painting and it should not be very costly.

On a triple black bike that has next to no chrome but has black chrome wheels, I think chrome will stand out too much and take away from the triple black look. Black chrome, in my opinion, will enhance the look but not POP out and become the focal point.

You do not have very many parts that are chromed. When your bike comes I would mount these pieces, maybe one at a time, you may find that they really high light the black. I think a few Chrome highlights would look really great. If not have a local powder coater put a Black Chrome powder coat on them. That will be the cheapest way to get them really black.
