    Default F3's Dyno Tuning

Has anyone done any documented results tuning on the F3? Has any performance documented results occurred from eliminating the Cat---other than sound ?
"Jack Web" just the facts :-)

Staking a Spyder down on a chassis dyno isn't quite as easy as it sounds...
Assuming that you've got enough width to handle the bike; you've still got to figure out how to deal with the speed sensors...
That's why we haven't seen many dyno-time reports for Spyders.
    But we're hopeful!

....It can be done , but you must dis-connect some of the sensors in order to do it.........Lamont can tell you how He did it......Mike

I did a dyno on a 2010 RT. Put it on a chassis dynu. Disconnected the speed sensor at the rear wheel and strapped it down. The rear tire was an issue due to the ballooning as the speed increased, did get results but had no base line to compare to. Pipbull is claiming a 7hp gain with there new system stating that the results were obtained on dyno. My question would be what was the base line and why has nothing been posted by Pitbull or Lamont.

If you go into "Roller bench mode" with a diagnostics programme running on a computer, you can 'turn speed sensors off' which will allow you to run a dyno tune ....

I made a rear wheel roller to try and isolate a noise and the issue I had was finding a dealer to put it in bench mode. Some didn't even know what I was talking about. Alcoa Good Times in Louisville, TN.
