Default Willie and Max Luggage Rack

Below are photos of the Willie & Max 58008-00 Universal Luggage Rack on a 2015 Can-Am Spyder F3-S. There is a drop of 12 degrees, which could be corrected by filing steel. However, it will be fine to hold the Saddlemen Cruis'N Slant Tail Bag [3503-0056]. It was a difficult installation because it just barely fit. I had to remove the backrest pad in order to fit the brackets.

I took it apart and tried again. The trick is to tighten the bottom bolts of the rack first. Then, the top ones. Now it is level. New photos below.

    Default NICE !!!

....Just a thought...before you file anything, can you reverse the brackets to get the angle changed so the platform would be " LEVEL "..........it's hard to tell from the pic , but it might work...............Mike

My guess is that Blueknight911 (Mike) is right on the money. Or if that doesn't work perhaps a sledge hammer would take out the 12* drop. Wait, wait only kidding.

    Default BRACKET

...Maybe I used the wrong term,....take off the platform....as you face the rear....take off the right side chrome attachment , and flip it over -- so the bolts go in -- this will change the angle as it attaches to the platform......I think this will level it...............It can't hurt it........Mike

No. See my modified posting above. It was the sequence that the bolts needed to go in.

Agreed......I had the same issue until I realized the sequence of tightening the bolts...........actually a great and heavy duty rack for its size.
