    Thumbs down Eight more day's

in the shop and not one word. Are BRP's finest stumped too? Pure speculation on my part. But, it seems to me I'd have heard something. If they knew something.

Default In the shop another two weeks and this is the latest update

this is what we found so far…. unit was inspected and the unit had the *P0416 code(*may be a typo - no such code for Spyder - best I know), contacted BRP regarding this issue. inspected the wires once again and the ground at the fuel pump connector had .0 to .1 ohms, got a .3 ohms reading from the fan ground ( per schematic both the fan and fuel pump share the same ground), battery to the fan ground was .4ohms, battery to the fuel pump was .0-.1ohms, fan ground to the fuel pump ground was .1ohms, inspected ground wire from the fan it appeared to be secure, inspected the connector once removed from the connector and it was still at .0-.1ohms, inspected the wire back towards the harness and it was at .4ohms, repair and shrink tubed wire, front reading was taken, rechecked ground at fan connector and it was at .4ohms, reinstalled unit and 80 miles has been ridden on the unit with no check engine light.

The wiring repair suggested by BRP was from the main wire harness. Not the one that was replaced in 15. The plan looks to be to test ride one last time. As soon as that is completed, I'll update you.

    Thumbs down Dog, meet tail.

So, one week ago today I decided to contact @BRPcares.

Of note: the Spyder has been at the dealer -again- for the past three weeks. They have been working with BRP tech support, and I'm told my issues have been referred upward to BRP 2 (two) times during this period.

    BRPcares response this AM.

    Hi Jerry,

My name is xxxxxx(withheld because it doesn't matter), I am a consumer experience coordinator here in the BRPcare team. I am really sorry to read about your ongoing concerns regarding your Spyder.

After having a close look at your records, my best recommendation is that you make an appointment with your service dealer and ask them to contact a BRP product specialist once your unit is in the dealership.

Thanks for writing to BRPcare and have an excellent day!

    Really?

    Nothing else to say.

    The response says it all!

Perhaps you should be right there with the Technician, when he calls BRP to actually get the ball rolling...
At least you can verify that a call was made, and the call was received...

To doubt my dealer would be to suspect the owner is not telling me the truth. And, that simply ain't the case. Too many years of background with him to ever think such a thing. He, like myself, serves it straight up.

If we have to resort to the of use of lie detectors, water boarding and tracking devices to insure things are being handled honestly.

    Count me out.

Unhappy Well it's back but, is it fixed.

Four weeks ago today it went to the shop(again). As of this moment, it's home again.

Just in time to set in the garage for two weeks while I'm away riding in Colorado. On a dependable bike(FJR).

    Is the Spyder finally fixed?

Based on past experiences. I'd sooner trust a rattle snake.

    Updates to come.
