Bob, remember my homemade bacon thread? Well, the final smoke will be this weekend. 24 hrs of Hickory smoke. 6 hrs each time, with 3 days rest between each smoke... its a labor of love... ill post pics so you can drool. If you ask nicely, I'll meet ya half way and give ya a sample. Maybe we can meet for lunch??
Still my favorite...bring it home, fry it up in a pan .. hold it between two fingers and nibble it down like a rabbit eating a carrot... or any of a million other ways, chopped, wrapped, baked, broiled, stuffed, sauteed or smoked. We have a great burger joint here, Slater's 50/50, serves burgers that are half beef half bacon....
