    Default Shocks for 2009 GS

    Need to get new shocks, thinking of buying Progesssive 435 for the front at $599. pair
    465 series for the rear at $334.
    Has anyone out in Spyder land used these before, any suggetions.

    If you can find a set of shocks off of a 2011 or 2012 RT; they'll firm up the ride nicely... and for a whole lot less coin!

    I may have 1 set of the Progressive 435's left for $525. I'll look and see. A great set of shocks.

    I heard (on spyderlovers) the 2010 RT (front) shock assy. was stiffer than the 2011RT. I have the 2010 RT shock assy's on my 2008.

    No, I think that is backwards. The 11 and 12s were stiffer than the 10s.

    I don't think that was it but it looks like it was one of the straws that finally broke the camel's back.

    how do these 435 shocks compare to the ones that BRP sell.

    I have these for sale if you are interested. I had no intention of getting them rebuilt prior to taking them off I loved them enough to buy a new set for my new F3.
