Default Template for floor of Freedom Trailer?

Has any enterprising soul here actually made a template of the floor shape of the Freedom Trailer, for use in cutting some carpet to fit? The trailer floor seems to be about 33 inches wide at the tail and about 47 1/2 inches long, but of course has lots of little nooks and cutouts along the way from bow to stern. Rather than trial and error I thought I'd see if anyone might have made a template or might want to make one by tracing the outline of their already-cut carpet piece onto some large paper that could be easily mailed...

    Never hurts to ask!

hey Radthorne, an easy way to make templates is to you masking tape. Just get a 3inch wide roll and tape out the entire floor of the trailer in one direction then go the opposite direction. Pull out the tape easily and trace your pattern. I do vehicle graphics this way all the time works great.

Try the regular tan tape and maybe also try the blue tape used in painting but only use the 3M product.
I used the tan stuff when making a template to duplicate a part for an aircraft repair when I worked for Lockheed Aeromod back in the last century.

Yes, I think the blue painting tape is a good idea - probably less sticky residue.
