Default Anti sway bar stronger links question

    Hi Ron (and others)!

This may be a stupid question, I am no suspension expert. But are the factory composite links easier/gentler on the A-arms than the stronger aluminum ones?

I would love to get your upgraded parts; but I am concerned that the beefier anti-sway bar combined with the stronger links might add more stress/wear and tear on the a-arms which I am guessing are a lot harder to replace than sway bar links... But again, I am no suspension expert, this is just a question that popped into my head and I thought I'd ask it before plunging into this modification.

    Thanks!

Many, many riders (including me) have the Baja Ron sway bars on their Spyders with the stronger links and as far as I have seen there are no issues with them.

The only issue with the stronger heim links is that they are more reliable.
There are absolutely NO downside issues with the installation.

You may be looking for a problem that just doesn't exist. If you were able to total the miles on all the Spyders with BajaRon sway bars and aluminum Heim links and the total of worn out A-arm bushings and/or ball joints on those Spyders the latter would be statistically insignificant if it existed at all. The ride quality value of the Ron bar is well worth the very reasonable price IMO. YMMV.

    Default Go for it...

the difference is miniscule and the advantage is huge..the question would be do you feel you need to have better handling. If your happy with your machine you don't have to have the beefier bar and either way you don't have to have the hiem joints...but if you want the full effect of this mod get them both and enjoy a substancially better ryde...

I'm definitely not UNhappy with the Spyder's current handling; I just feel like if a simple upgrade makes it even better, why not?
Plus, my husband used to road race motorcycles and he's already surprised by how much he enjoys his Spyder. I'd love to see what he has to say if his ryde starts handling even better! I figure upgrade his first, mine next.
