That bracket is checked by quality control before it leaves our warehouse in Daytona. It appears that the seat was dropped and damaged in shipping. We've taken care of this order and a new seat will be shipping today.

Just to close the loop on this, Ultimate replaced the damaged seat with a new one. Installed with no problems.
