We had a 2012 RT and it was a very reliable bike. No issues with it and traded it in on our 2014 RT Limited. I think the 2012 RT was a very good year and a solid bike that provided us trouble free riding.

The 2013s and up have the shocks mounted in a more vertical position. Better handling and less sway. The extenders can be added to earlier years to move the highly angled shocks to a more vertical position.
