I own a red 2012 RT-S SE5 with 15K miles and I am considering trading it in on a new 2015 RT-S or Limited SE6. Other than the extra chrome and GPS, is there anything else different on the Limited to justify the cost difference of about $2500.00? Thanks!
No. Absolutely nothing but trim. I have always had the RTS, I use GPS on my phone and I don't like the position of the GPS mount on the Limited. I also do not like to clean chrome so the RTS with the blacked out parts and wheels suits me just fine as did having the extra $$ in my wallet.
My suggestion for BRP has always been to actually make the RTS truly a sport model and the Limited the Cadillac. Stiffer suspension, more horsepower. Maybe someday they will actually do that.

2014 RTL-SE6 8,600 miles
2011 RTS-SM5 5,000 miles
2013 RTS-SM5 burned up with 13,200 miles in 13 weeks
2010 RTS-SM5 59,148 miles

I'm an anti-chrome guy. Unlike Ann, I like the position of the GPS mount on the Tri-Axis handlebars. I purchased the Zumo 590, the 2015 OEM GPS, for my 2014 RT-S and have been very satisfied and it was in my budget for the Spyder.

otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

You want see a price difference compare a Basic RT... VS. an LTD....I think it's about $6500....The bean counters at BRP CRY every time a Basic RT gets sold.................jmho.........Oh , and I did buy the Basic ......Mike
We have a basic RT (2011 A & C) and a 2014 RTS. Never went for the LTD because of the extra price, and no need (for me) for the extra chrome and electronic gadgets.
My only upline farkles were floorboards, a CD trunk light bar, and a Comfort seat on the 2011.
CD trunk light bar, LED bumpskid, KOTT grills, and a Comfort seat on the 2014.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.

Smart move. you can add Seal Floorboards for half the price of the BRP and get twice the floorboard.

I had a 2012 and recently bought a 2015. I never even considered the limited. Mine is the -s and has the black rims which make it look better and the extra money for the limited I used for a much louder air horn and trailer hitch.
There is a pretty big difference between the base and the RTS or RT Ltd. the fenders are old style, the trim is gray the wheels are that gray also. No onboard compressor. Don't think it even has a radio. No floorboards but I don't have them on my SM either.

besides the GPS, chrome wheels, I think with the LTD, you also get...tadaa ! the frunk roller bag.
It cannot be worth the difference in price unless you gotta have the most expensive.

Actually it has a very nice stereo, and for about $100 to $ 125 ...you swap out the crappy OEM speakers for 2 OHM JBL's that will blow the doors off most anything else........just sayin.........Mike
To each their own, I like chrome. My next will be a limited.

That's what negotiations are for. I also went with just the RT, but I negotiated the A/C package and a trailer hitch into the purchase. Ultimately they wanted to sell a Spyder so they agreed with me and I saved a lot of money.

I am happy to report that I went ahead and bought the 2015 RT-S. Love that 1330cc Rotax! I modeled at the Ringling College of Art & Design this past week!

The 2010 RT had no radio. Think if done again, would get the model with radio. My pillion rider will likely get a bluetooth helmet and end up listening to Pandora. Not having an intercomm is the plus side. She doesn't like to hear me complain about bad drivers or cows wandering in the road.
