comfort seat
i need more leg room on a 2014 rs-s and cannot find out from anyone, dealer, forum, spyder website, if the comfort seat for the rs has the extra 2" that the rt comfort seat tall has. being 6'4" has its disadvantages. ultimate seat has a tall boy that is longer and there are other companies but it would be advantageous for me to stick with brp if they have one for the rs. thanks.

The RS comfort seat does not have the extra 2" as the RT seat. With your height your likely going to have to go custom or look at boards to lower your feet.
I've owned quite a few RS seats including the comfort, ST, Corbin, Ultimate, and a few custom seats. IMHO the best bang for buck RS seat is an OEM ST seat.

if a ST original seat fits why wouldn't as ST Comfort seat fit? It has the 2" setback as well?

Pass on the comfort seat....
Unless you want mine. I am not impressed with mine. It looks bitchin though.

Nope. The ST and RS comfort seats are the same. No significant change in seating position.

My question is does 2" back make that much of a difference?

On my RT-S
No, but does give me a bit more wiggle room. I'm about 5' 6" (used to be 5'7"... getting older and shrinking?) and have arthritis... the comfort seat was one of the options I used to try to get more comfortable. Also, use an air seat pad, tri-axis handlebars, floor boards, hand grip covers (to expand my gripping comfort)
