F3-S Rear running/brake/turn signal lights wiring code
Appreciate help with rear lights wiring colors.
There are same color coded wires running separately to Right and Left sides rear bulbs.
F-3S 3 wires for each side
Black - ground?
White - ignition switch +12V - running lights/brake with higher voltage??
Grey with maybe a red stripe - turn signal?????
I am installing lighting for my top case and its controller has five wires:
Blue - switched 12V
Red - brake light
Green - right turn signal
Yellow - left turn signal
Black - ground
If I am guessing correctly: Blue to Aux. power, Red to F3 white, Green to F3 Right grey/red, yellow to F3 left grey/red, and black to any black.
thanks in advance - yes I did search service manual couldn't find info - probably because of my pee brain and old age.

Ok- my brain is working better this morning than last night.
Found wiring diagram.
If I am reading it correctly:
F3/F3-S rear/tail light (right and left same wiring color scheme)
Black - ground
White - brake/turn signal (flasher)
Grey/brown stripe (looks red to me) - running light goes to switched 12V
Would appreciate a double check of my findings.
Cheers
Steve

You are correct. The F3 uses the same wire for brake and turn lights.

Japanese F3 LED tail lights
Oh - I also discovered that the Japanese version of the F3 has LED tail lights.
Come on isn't the United States the largest Spyder market in the world and we get stuck with my grandfather's incandescent bulbs. For crying out loud this is 2015 and a new 2015 Spyder model

OOPs my bad - probably some/all? States in USA MVA laws don't allow LED motor vehicle lights.

RT tail and turn lamps are LED. The Japanese F3 has some ugly stalks sticking out the side with the LED indicators.

I didn't realize true Japanese configuration - how unfortunate - must be local law.

Wired everything up for the Givi Cases with the Admore Lighting. I understand the brake line is the flasher line. Brake lights work. 4 Way flashers work. I can get the left side of the cases to blink with the bike. When I turn on the right side blinkers, the left blinker on the case blinks too. What am I doing wrong?

Saddlebags with LED lights
I own a 2016 Can Am Sypder F3. My saddlebags have 2 wires for each LED light as follows; Red for positive and white for brake/running/signal lights. Can anyone tell me where I can connect those wires under the passenger seat, to which color? Thanks

At the bike and at the signals on a F3-T. You would want the colors at the bike side of the plug. I'm making a informed guess the plugs under the seat are the same colors as the plug behind my bags on the T. Correct me if I'm wrong as I don't have the diagram for the plain F3 except to show the colors which match before the US/CAN flasher module.

Sorry but the F3s and the F3t have different wiring. Our F3s models have a three wire system. Not a problem unless you want to have the Leds on your saddle bags work differently. I have the same set of bags and installed a splitter so I could separate the brake and turn signals. Then I added a flasher unit. The leds in the bags only come on and flash when I hit the brakes. Not sure if I can get to it today but I will look at the wire colors that I tapped for the splitter. https://youtu.be/g1ivm4TrniM
