Custom Dynamics HMT Genesis Trunk Light

I just installed the HMT Custom Dynamics Genesis light and found out the instructions are a bit off for my 2014 RT Limited.
Once you take off some of the Tupperware on the rear of the bike the instructions have you pull the right tail light connector out. Well it will not come out, the wires on the factory harness are short and will not allow you to put back to separate the factory tail light connector.

So you have to remove the right tail light to get to the right tail light connector to hook up the connector provided in the HMT Genesis kit.

I am sure not all spyders are the same as the instructions.

Other than that its a pretty simply job.

I have a 2010 RTS and it was the same.

I had to do the same on my 2011. I have a 15 now and the light is on the way. I faintly remember some one found it easy to simply drop the rear lower plastic fender and get to it from below

I had to remove 5 screws for the plastic rear mud flap/license holder to get access to the lower tail light screw.
