Default Installed Kuryakyn 4393 Premium Mini Boards

On my 2008 RS SM5 I just installed the Kuryakyn 4393 Mini Boards with the 8808 adapters on the rider foot pegs. Trying to get away from those OEM foot pegs. I haven't ridden more than a few blocks but they definitely helped with brake pedal reach. The shifter side still needs a little tweaking but I think they will be fine.

Added them to ours last year. Great improvement over stock pegs. Also adjustable and very well made.

I have been looking at something similar, were they a pain to get installed and whats the issue with the shifter side?

Not hard to install at all. I would call it a universal fit, not a custom fit. Hardest part was deciding which way to install the spring, Kuryakyn instruction way or my way (decided on my way).

The boards have to tilt slightly downward in the front and it makes the brake pedal a wonderful thing. I no longer have to left my entire right leg to put my toe on the brake pedal....perfect for me.

The shifter side needs slightly more tilt downward to allow my toes under the shifter, which means I still have to lift my entire left leg to downshift. Still experimenting with adjustments on shifter side but I'll find the sweet spot.

The boards are more comfortable while cruising for sure.

Default Kuryakyn Mini Board RSS 2014

Kuryakyn site says they fit 2013 RS (only drop down option). However for 2014 it offers both a drop down option for RS AND RSS. It says available for RS but not RSS. Anyone installed theses on a 2013 RSS OR 2014? Alternatively anyone know if there is some peg configuration difference on th 2014 RS vs RSS?
